Thomas R. Sawyer II, CPA, MBA, PFS

Tom Sawyer leads operations for Barclay Properties in the Fort Lauderdale office, is a CPA and is also the President of Sawyer & Latimer, P.A. Certified Public Accountants. With his diverse professional background and experience, he is aptly qualified to handle a wide range of financial transactions and to help clients achieve their growth and profitability goals.

Tom has more than 15 years of experience consulting with small- to mid-sized businesses in all areas of operations and financial analysis, including accounting, taxes and wealth management. Among his clients are doctors, attorneys, construction contractors and subcontractors, developers, brokers, real estate investors and more.

Tom is a registered representative with Genworth Financial Securities Corporation and an investment advisors representative with Genworth Financial Wealth Management. He holds series 7 and 63 securities licenses, and he is a Florida-licensed insurance agent for life, disability and long-term care products. He has also achieved the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  

In addition to these wealth management strategies, Tom specializes in commercial real estate and business brokerage services. He is a Florida-licensed real estate sales associate who has handled numerous business purchases and sales, business startups, commercial property purchases and sales, and 1031 exchanges.
